Missing key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their next match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.

This match offered a platform for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
